The Black Box 8-Port ServSwitch EC Series is a KVM switch that allows you to switch between multiple PS/2 and USB servers from a single PS/2 KVM workstation. With this switch, one user can manage up to 8 computers supporting VGA video with a single mouse and keyboard. This KVM switch is scalable, so while a single switch can manage 8 servers, you can cascade switches to control more servers from a single console.
The ServSwitch is a compact switch, only 1U high, making it great for your server rack. Once plugged in, this switch offers two ways to get to the system you want to use: onboard buttons or keyboard hotkeys. After setting up the ServSwitch, you can name your servers and save server settings directly to the switch in non-volatile memory, so you won’t lose your work to a power outage.
