This server board allows up to 6 SATA drives, offering varying RAID support for each port. It has 2 SATA 3.0 ports with RAID 0, 1 support and 4 SATA 2.0 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 support. The X9SCI-LN4F allows for 1 PCI and 1 PCI-Express 2.0 (x16 slot) connections.

This board is best for legacy data centers that need to replace the server board on an existing Supermicro chassis or for collectors who appreciate retro-cool tech.
